SCHOOL SERVICES
Bus Fox is the major provider of school transport in the Sarina Area and delivers students to schools in the Sarina, Calen and Eungella area including Swayneville State School, St. Anne Catholic School, Koumala State School, Sarina State School, Sarina State High School, Alligator Creek State School, Eungella State School and Calen District State College.
Students may be eligible for free transport to their school by completing a Bus Travel Assistance application form.
The department has in place Code of Conduct for School Students Travelling on Buses. The code applies to all students attending primary and secondary school in Queensland who use buses either to travel to and from school or for other school-related activities such as excursions. The code sets out prescribed standards of behaviour and examples of how your child can meet theses standards.

PRIMARY STUDENTS
Primary students are eligible for free transport provided they live more than 3.2kms by the shortest trafficable route from their closest state primary school. If a student is eligible for free transport, they must travel on the designated service for their area. Designated services do not always travel to the student's closest primary school.
Under certain circumstances Safety Net Assistance is available if the child lives closer than 3.2kms from the school.
Primary and secondary cash fares are listed on the individual route listing timetables to the right.
SECONDARY STUDENTS
Secondary students are eligible for free transport provided they live more than 4.8kms by the shortest trafficable route from their closest state secondary school. If a student is eligible for free transport, they must travel on the designated service for their area. Designated services do not always travel to the student's closest secondary school.
Safety Net is available under certain circumstances if the student lives closer than 4.8kms to the school.
If you choose to send your child to a school other than the designated one a cash fare must be paid prior to boarding.
